Navigating the healthcare system can be a confusing and expensive process, and this often leaves people without sufficient coverage to obtain important healthcare services. These difficulties can be worsened when we’re struggling with our mental health. The old adage states that we cannot pour from an empty cup, but what if our cup is empty right now?
I offer complimentary counseling services to low-income individuals who wish to obtain the benefits of long-term therapy and healthcare. If enrolled, you will be allotted either five sessions or two-months of treatment, whichever is completed first. These sessions will primarily center around developing coping skills and self-care strategies available for immediate use.
Additionally, sessions will include an introduction to a New York State of Health navigator, whose mission is to take the guesswork out of finding the right long-term health care plan for you. Additional topics and interventions can be discussed throughout this process and will be included where available. For enrollment or additional questions, please submit an inquiry form.
